01About these terms
Framed AI is run by Framed AI BV (Rodeborgstraat 67, 2900 Schoten, Belgium · Enterprise no. 1040.786.838 · VAT BE1040.786.838 · RPR Antwerpen, afdeling Antwerpen). These terms apply when you create an account or use the app, together with the privacy policy, which explains what happens to your data. By creating an account you accept both.
02What Framed does
Framed works out your fit envelope, the range of positions that suits your body and your riding, from the measurements and answers you give it. It then matches real frames on their published geometry and names your size in each model, with the stem and spacers that size needs.
It helps you choose a bike. It is not a bike fit, and it is not medical advice.
03Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Give your own, correct details, and keep your password to yourself.
- One account per person. Enter other people’s measurements only with their permission.
- Tell us at hello@framedbikes.eu if you think someone else is using your account.
04Free while we test
Framed is free while we test it with riders. Some features have limits on the free plan, and a trial can lift them for a while, without payment and without a card.
Paid plans may follow. Nothing you have today becomes paid without you choosing it: before you can buy anything, we will show the price and the terms that apply to it, and a paid plan starts only when you order it.
05Advice, not a guarantee
Your results are estimates with a range around them, and they are only as good as the measurements behind them. Measuring at home is less precise than a studio. Frame geometry comes from the brands, through 99 Spokes, and can contain errors or change.
- Check the size with the brand or the shop before you buy.
- When you change your position on a bike, change it a little at a time.
- If something hurts, stop and see a bike fitter or a doctor. Framed does not diagnose or treat any condition.
06Brands, shops and links
Framed does not sell bikes. When you buy, you buy from the brand or the shop, on their terms. Framed may earn a commission when you buy through a link; that never changes how frames are ranked.
Brand names, logos and product photos belong to their owners. Showing them does not mean a brand works with Framed or endorses it.
07Fair use
Please don’t:
- copy the catalog or the results in bulk, or scrape the app with automated tools;
- try to get around its limits or security, or overload it;
- reverse engineer it, except where the law allows that;
- use it for anything unlawful, or to harm anyone.
08Your data and our content
Your data stays yours. You allow us to use it to run Framed for you, as the privacy policy describes, and you can export or delete it at any time.
The app, the fit engine, the texts and the designs are ours. Product photos and geometry are the brands’, shown through 99 Spokes.
09Changes and availability
Framed is in its test phase. Features will change, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account before then.
10Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after a warning where that is reasonable. If we stop the service, we will tell you in advance so you can export your data.
11Liability
Framed is free during the test, and its advice is a starting point you check before you act on it. As far as Belgian law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, or for what you buy or change on your bike based on it.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by our fault, or any right you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
12Law and disputes
Belgian law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you can go to its courts. Before that, write to hello@framedbikes.eu: most things are quicker to solve by email.
